The ASBMB Science Outreach and Communication Committee is organizing its second annual event to inspire local high school students — this time in San Antonio.

The ASBMB’s Science Outreach and Communication grants fund public engagement activities that foster the appreciation of science — particularly biochemistry and molecular biology — in informal settings.

“By playing the djambe in a group, I thought, I could connect with the people around me without uttering a word.”

The 2022 ASBMB Annual Meeting in April offers a collection of programming to meet a variety of needs for members of all career stages and interests.
