The 2020 Deuel Package includes:

  • All scientific sessions and meeting materials
  • 3 nights lodging (arriving March 3, departing March 6)
  • Meals and networking receptions. Attendees are on their own for lunch.  

Note: No commuter registration fee available.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Hotel accommodations are made during the registration process. All housing arrangements must be made directly through ASBMB’s registration site. Do not contact the meeting property directly.

GUEST/SPOUSE

Registrants choosing to bring a non-attendee guest/spouse, will choose Single Occupancy Housing and provide the guest's name. A $500 guest fee will apply allowing your guest/spouse to accompany you to all meals/receptions.

Double occupancy

Double occupancy accommodation is available for two scientific meeting attendees wishing to share accommodations with either a designated or assigned roommate. If a roommate name is provided that roommate must also register as a meeting attendee and provide the roommate name that matches. If no roommate name is provided, ASBMB will assign roommates based on gender. If ASBMB is unable to assign a roommate the participant will be notified and required to pay the single occupancy rate.

INDUSTRY

Participants from industry must first meet the donor obligation in order to register. The requested contribution, unchanged for over 20 years, is $2,500 per industry participant (in addition to the registration fee). This financial contribution is waived if grant funding from the participant's company covers the $2,500/participant contribution. Contact  Stephen Young, for additional information.

REGISTRATION CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Registration Changes: Registration changes will be accepted as space allows until Friday, Feb. 7, 2020 and can be made by contracting the meetings office at deuel@asbmb.org or calling the accounting department at 240-283-6600.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing on or before Feb. 7, 2020, are subject to a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after Feb. 7, 2020 due to final guarantee commitments. Email the ASBMB Meetings Office at meetings@asbmb.org and attach a copy of your meeting registration receipt/paid invoice.
