Is registration required to attend the meeting?
Yes, all participants are required to register and must wear their badge to access sessions, posters and exhibits. Register here
You can also register onsite at the Registration Desk outside of the Exhibit Hall (Prince George’s D) on the Lower Atrium. See registration hours below.
How do I download the mobile app?
Method 1: Use the invitation email
All registrants will receive an email from Amer. Society for Biochem. & Molecular Bio (noreply@rdmobile.com). Be sure to check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
- Open the invitation email.
- Click the link to download or update the app from the Apple App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
- After installing or updating the app, return to the same email and click “Get Started Now” to log in.
Method 2: Download and log in manually
You can also download the official ASBMB Annual Meeting app directly from the Apple App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
- After downloading and opening the app, click “Log In” in the top right corner.
- Select “Email me a Link.”
- Enter the email address you used to register for the ASBMB Annual Meeting.
- Check your email and click “Log In Now” to access the app.
Troubleshooting
- If you are having trouble, make sure the app is updated so you can download the 2026 meeting data.
- If you still see last year’s meeting, select “Change Event” from the app menu.
- If issues persist, try logging out and back in to refresh the app.

Where can I view the program schedule?
The full scientific program is available on the ASBMB Annual Meeting website.
The program can also be viewed by downloading the official 2026 ASBMB Annual Meeting app available in the Apple App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android). See instructions above.
Where is the Registration Desk?
The Registration Desk is outside of the Exhibit Hall (Prince George’s D) on the Lower Atrium level. Badge printing is only available at the Registration Desk.
Hours:
- Friday, March 6: 4–7 p.m.
- Saturday, March 7: 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Sunday, March 8: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Monday, March 9: 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 10: 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Can I purchase a ticket to the closing reception?
Yes. Closing reception tickets are available for purchase on a first come, first served basis until capacity is reached.
Tickets can be purchased during the registration process. If you have already completed your registration and would like to purchase tickets for the closing reception, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to the registration site
- Click “Attendee Registration”
- Select “Add an event”
- Proceed through the registration process and add the closing reception ticket(s)
- Complete payment for your ticket(s)

Can I purchase a T-shirt?
Unfortunately, the pre-order deadline has passed, and we are unable to offer additional T-shirts.
Where do I pick up my pre-ordered T-shirt?
T-shirts can be picked up at the Registration Desk starting Sunday, March 8, at 10 a.m. T-shirt pickup will end on Tuesday, March 10, at 3 p.m.
T-shirts are non-refundable and cannot be replaced if you lose your ticket. T-shirts cannot be exchanged for different sizes. If you do not pick up your T-shirt, it will not be shipped to you.
I am considering bringing my family to accompany me or watch my presentation. May I do so?
Yes. ASBMB offers two options for family members and guests:
- If your family member or guest would like to spend the full day at the conference accompanying you, they must register for a guest pass, which is $175.
- If your family member or guest would like to attend only your presentation, they can be issued a complimentary temporary guest badge. This badge must be returned to the Registration Desk immediately following the presentation.
Guest badges can only be acquired onsite at the Registration Desk.
The registered attendee must accompany their guest to the Registration Desk. Guests must agree to abide by ASBMB policies in order to receive a badge. Please note that guest badges cannot be replaced if lost.
Can my child attend the conference with me?
Yes, your child may attend the conference with you.
Minors age 17 and under are permitted to accompany a registered parent or guardian in common areas, session rooms, and the Exhibit Hall during show hours, provided they are supervised at all times and the parent/guardian signs a responsibility and liability waiver at the Registration Desk.
Parents/guardians are expected to promptly address any disruptive or unsafe behavior to maintain a professional learning environment. Parent/guardian must be registered and wear a badge, and children must wear a wristband that includes the parent/guardian’s phone number. ASBMB reserves the right to request that a child be removed from session rooms, the Exhibit Hall or other meeting areas if necessary.
To register a minor, visit the Registration Desk onsite.
Where is the Information Desk?
The Information Desk is located outside of the Woodrow Wilson Ballroom on the Ballroom Level. Visit the ASBMB Information Desk if you have any questions about the annual meeting; however, please note that registration and badge printing are available only at the Registration Desk.
I lost/found an item. What should I do?
Lost items can be turned in at the registration desk (outside Prince George’s D) or to the ASBMB Information Desk (outside the Woodrow Wilson ballroom).
During non-registration hours lost items should be returned to the hotel front desk in the lobby.
I lost my badge/tickets.
Please check with the Registration Desk, Information Desk, and the hotel front desk in the lobby to see if your badge has been turned in.
If your badge is not found and you need a replacement, please visit the Registration Desk to have it reprinted. A $20 reprint fee will apply.
Tickets are not replaceable if lost.
Where is the Speaker Ready Room located?
Room Chesapeake J is the speaker ready room space. Please upload your presentation 24 hours ahead of time, if possible.

Press F9 on the keyboard of the session room computer for help.
What date is my poster presentation?
You can easily find your presentation date in the mobile app (see download instructions above). In the app, go to the Schedule tab and search for your first and last name to view your assigned presentation date and time. You can also select “More” from the menu and search your name in the Posters or Presenters tabs.
You are also welcome to visit the Registration Desk or Information Desk onsite, and we will be happy to look it up for you.

Is there a room for nursing mothers?
Yes, the nursing mothers’ room will be located in National Harbor 1. For safety and privacy, the room will remain locked and will require a key for access. Visit the Registration Desk to obtain the key.
Please note that this is a shared space that can accommodate up to three nursing mothers at a time, with privacy drapes provided for each individual area.

Is there a prayer or quiet room?
Yes, room National Harbor 14 is a prayer/quiet room. The room will be open to anyone who wants to sit in a quiet place. There will be signs reminding those in the room about restricted use of cell phones, noise, etc.

Will luggage storage be available?
The bell stand in the lobby can hold luggage for any attendee staying in the Gaylord hotel.
Additionally, on Tuesday March 10, ASBMB will provide a separate luggage check for attendees. This luggage check will operate from 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Maryland Ballroom Foyer.
Will there be conference Wi-Fi?
Yes, there will be free Wi-Fi available throughout the convention center.

FedEx is open daily from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m., including Saturday and Sunday.
Is there shuttle service at the Gaylord Hotel?
Yes, the National Harbor Circulator Bus runs daily and provides transportation within the area to MGM National Harbor, Tanger Outlets and the National Harbor Waterfront.

The Potomac District Market & Café in the Atrium of the Gaylord National offers to-go Starbucks™ coffee, snacks and meals from 6 a.m. to midnight daily.

Will transportation be provided to the closing reception?
Yes, shuttles will run approximately every 30 minutes starting at 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10. You must present your Closing Reception ticket to board the shuttle.
- The last pickup from the Gaylord to the Torpedo Factory will be at 9 p.m.
- The last pickup from the Torpedo Factory to the Gaylord will be at 10 p.m.
Tickets are not refundable and cannot be replaced if lost.
When do I get my certificate of participation?
Certificates of participation will be added to your ASBMB account 1–2 days after the meeting concludes.
Can I get a certificate for my presentation?
Yes, after the meeting concludes, please email meetings@asbmb.org.
