Where will the 2025 ASBMB Annual Meeting take place?
The 2026 Annual Meeting of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will take place March 7–10 at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Convention Center, just outside Washington, D.C. — 201 Waterfront St., Oxon Hill, MD 20745.
Do I need to be a member to attend?
No, but the registration fees and abstract submission fees will be reduced for ASBMB members.
What does it cost to register?
The registration system will open in late October and fees will be available at that time.
How do I submit an abstract?
The abstract submission site will open in September. Abstract submission fees are reduced for ASBMB members so be sure to join or renew prior to submission.
Are travel awards available?
Yes, ASBMB provides a number of travel awards to help primary authors present their research at the ASBMB Annual Meeting. You must be an ASBMB member and listed as the primary author (first author) of an abstract in order to apply for a travel award. See eligibility requirements.
Where should I stay?
Discounted room rates have been secured at the Gaylord National Harbor Resort and Convention Center for ASBMB Annual Meeting attendees. The official ASBMB Annual Meeting housing site will open in late October. You must reserve your room through the official housing site to qualify for discounted hotel rates.
How can I receive the best value for the meeting?
Join the ASBMB or renew your membership. ASBMB members save on abstract submission cost and registration cost, and travel awards are only available to members. Reserve your hotel room early through the official ASBMB Annual Meeting housing site to ensure the best rates before rooms are sell out.
