Navigating career development and building resilience in times of unrest

Brought to you by the ASBMB Education and Professional Development Committee

Nov. 16, 18 & 20, 2020

From COVID-19 to the racial justice movement, 2020 has been a year of disruption and change for those in or entering the STEM workforce. Some Ph.D. life scientists may be considering new directions for their careers as a result of this disruption, while others may not know the myriad career paths open to those with advanced training in STEM.

This three-day virtual conference provided direct access to scientists in various roles and job sectors who shared their career journeys and advice for those who wish to pursue similar careers. Each day began with a keynote covering overarching topics related to the STEM workforce or career development.
