Bert and Natalie Vallee Award in Biomedical Science
Due to the cancellation of the 2020 ASBMB Annual Meeting, the 2020 Annual Awards will be presented at the 2021 ASBMB Annual Meeting in Indianapolis.
There will be no 2021 awards.
Nominations for the 2022 ASBMB Annual Awards will open in early 2021.
The Bert and Natalie Vallee Award in Biomedical Science is awarded to an established scientist for outstanding accomplishments in basic biomedical research.
Nominations must originate from ASBMB members; however, the nominee need not be an ASBMB member.
The award consists of $10,000, a plaque and travel expenses for attendance at the ASBMB annual meeting to present a lecture.
The Bert and Natalie Vallee Award in Biomedical Science was established by the Bert and N. Kuggie Vallee Foundation in 2012 to recognize international achievements in the sciences basic to medicine.
