Avery Matthews

University of Texas at Austin '26

"Our student chapter of ASBMB applied for the ASBMB Science Fair Award because we have seen over the years how hard the organizers of the Austin Regional Science Fair have worked to make the event so professional, exciting and beneficial for the participants. Receiving the ASBMB Science Fair award holds a special value for a student, as it validates their efforts thus far in their research and empowers them with the confidence to continue pushing scientific barriers."
