Walter A. Shaw Young Investigator Award in Lipid Research

The Walter A. Shaw Young Investigator Award in Lipid Research, established by ASBMB’s Lipid Research Division, recognizes outstanding research contributions in the area of lipids by a young investigator who is an assistant professor or equivalent and holds a Ph.D. and/or M.D.
Both nominees and nominators must be ASBMB members.
The award consists of a plaque, $2,000 and travel expenses to present a lecture at the ASBMB annual meeting. The award is selected by the ASBMB Lipid Research Division Awards Committee. Current ASBMB Lipid Research Division Awards Committee members are not eligible for this award and may not submit nominations or support letters.
