Indiana University School of Medicine: Postdoctoral position in molecular parasitology

March 3, 2015

Postdoctoral fellowships focusing on cell signaling during the propagation of the human pathogenic parasite Toxoplasma gondii. NIH funded projects include investigating the function of a calcium dependent protein kinase during in vivo infection and characterizing calcium signaling proteins within the vacuole in which the parasite replicates.

St. Mary's College of Maryland: Visiting Assistant Professor of Biochemistry

February 26, 2015

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at St. Mary's College of Maryland invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biochemistry. The successful applicant will teach biochemistry and other chemistry courses.

Mississippi State University, Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Entomology and Plant Pathology: Assistant Professor, Biochemistry/Molecular Biology

February 20, 2015

Two openings at the Assistant Professor level for researchers using biochemical and/or molecular sciences to investigate problems of agricultural importance. These are 9-month tenure-track positions with workloads of 30% teaching and 70% research. Teaching responsibilities for one position will primarily be in biochemistry, while those the other one will primarily be in molecular biology.

Washington University School of Medicine: Postdoctoral Research Fellow

February 11, 2015

Postdoctoral positions available to investigate innate immunity, autophagy, and virulence of intracellular pathogens using the parasite Toxoplasma gondii. This important human pathogen enjoys excellent experimental tools for genetic, molecular, and cellular analyses, making it an attractive model. Prior experience with in vitro biochemical assays, cellular immunology, and molecular genetics.
