Online edition

  • All prices are in U.S. dollars.
  • All prices are for a single site/location. See below for information on obtaining a multisite quote.
  • All subscription periods are calendar year (January–December).
  • Payment in full must accompany each order.
  • Who can access the journal: An institutional subscription allows unlimited simultaneous online access by authorized users at one geographical site (see below) and does not include remote campuses, consortia or other forms of subscription sharing. If your institution has multiple sites, each site must purchase a separate subscription or the institution must purchase a multisite subscription.*
  • Definition of an authorized user: Authorized users are defined as employees, faculty, staff, students and consultants, whether on a permanent, temporary or contract basis, who are officially associated with the subscribing site and are permitted to access the secure network. Patrons of the institution’s library facilities also are considered authorized users.
  • Definition of a site: A site is defined as an organizational unit that may be academic or nonacademic and may consist of several buildings that are administered jointly. For organizations with facilities located in more than one city, each city office is considered a different site. For organizations within the same city that are administered independently, each office is considered a different site. For example, each campus in the State University of New York system is considered a different site, each branch or office of GlaxoSmithKline is considered a different site and each institute of the National Institutes of Health is considered a different site. Note: Exceptions to these restrictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Email subscriptions@asbmb.org for further information.
  • Activation process: Online access is provided by IP address. Once your payment is received and processed by the ASBMB, you will receive an email with instructions to activate your online subscription. As part of the activation process, you will be asked to provide valid IP addresses for the authorized users at the subscribing site only.
  • Access to back issues: An institutional online subscription includes access to the current year plus all back issues. Upon cancellation, perpetual access to subscribed content is available.
  • Perpetual access to subscribed content is available for all ASBMB journals.
