Mentoring opportunities

Share your expertise at the ASBMB Annual Meeting

One-on-one mentoring

We're seeking mentors to offer guidance to early career scientists and trainees. Mentors will meet with individuals who sign up for appointments, providing advice and support across various career stages.

Undergraduate student speed networking

This event introduces students to diverse career paths in biochemistry, molecular biology and beyond. Mentors share their career journeys, highlighting how they apply their scientific training in various roles.

Professor rounds

The professor rounds program pairs mentors with Graduate Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Travel Award recipients to provide career guidance. Mentors meet with their mentees at designated events and facilitate quarterly check-ins for one year, with a focus on supporting the mentee’s career development.

If you're interested in any of these mentoring opportunities, sign up when you submit an abstract or register for the meeting.
