2015 HOPES Workshop (Transforming Undergraduate Education in Molecular Life Sciences special symposium)

An ASBMB Special Symposium event

Saturday, August 1st - 1:15 - 3:30 PM
Missouri Western State University
4525 Downs Dr
St Joseph, MO 64507

Join ASBMB for a FREE workshop about teacher/researcher STEM partnerships during the Transforming Undergraduate Education in Molecular Life Sciences special symposium.

Scientists and K-12 teachers are encouraged to come to this workshop to see examples of successful teacher/researcher partnerships, to learn about local science outreach groups and opportunities, and to learn about funding opportunities from ASBMB that can support science outreach efforts and increase student engagement.

Teachers will meet scientists interested in science education, and scientists will meet and learn from local K-12 teachers. Everyone will benefit, and maybe you can find the perfect partner for your K-12 science education initiative!

This workshop is FREE FOR K-12 TEACHERS. Refreshments will be provided.

Registration is closed.
