Abstracts

June 4 June 12: Final abstract submission deadline.

Two types of abstract are being accepted. Submit a poster abstract, a Catalyst Conversations abstract or one of each (Each category requires a unique abstract).

1. Poster Abstract

A traditional poster session will be held in the evening of Friday, July 26.
All poster abstract submissions will be programmed for presentation. In addition, some will be selected for podium talks.

2. Catalyst Conversations Abstract

Catalyst Conversations will be held during breakout breakfast sessions Friday and Saturday. Attendees will break out into small groups to participate in and discuss presentations. Catalyst Conversations abstracts should describe a "chalk talk," an interactive instructional activity or classroom instructional materials. All Catalyst Conversations submissions will be programmed for a short demo during one of the breakout breakfast sessions.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Attendees may access the abstract submission system by logging on to the meeting registration site.
  • Designate only ONE presenting author.
  • Abstract title field allows a 200 character maximum.
  • Abstract body field allows for a 350 word count maximum.
  • Plain text may be typed directly into the text field. To retain special characters and formatting, such as bold and italics, we recommend that you copy and paste text from a Word document.

PROGRAMMING NOTIFICATIONS

  • Abstracts submitted for poster presentations by the June 4 deadline will be notified prior to the June 12 meeting registration deadline. 
  • All programming notifications will be sent by email and will include time and date of presentation.
