NC Regional Catalyst Conversations

Catalyst Conversations

March 16, 2019, La Crosse, WI

The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse invite you to participate in the Catalyst Conversations for Undergraduate Educators and Students workshop. This participant driven workshop is a great opportunity for educators to exchange ideas about teaching practices in biochemistry and molecular biology. Participants will have an opportunity to discuss implementing new ideas into their own teaching. Students will have opportunities to learn about biochemistry and molecular biology related careers and the application process to graduate school. The workshop culminates with an opportunity for both faculty and students to present a poster covering any biochemistry and molecular biology related topic (teaching, pedagogy, high-impact practices, assessment, research, etc), and you can submit your abstract when you register.

This workshop is free and open to all undergraduate biochemistry and molecular biology educators, including faculty, postdocs and students. Lunch and a continental breakfast will be provided.

Deadline: March 1, 2019. Registration is free.
