ASBMB annual meeting
The annual meeting has many events for grad students, including opportunities to network and explore different careers. The ASBMB awards over 200 travel awards of $1,000 each to grad students and postdocs.
ASBMB offers a policy fellowship and brings grad students to
Washington, D.C. for the society's annual Capitol Hill day. The society also leads a
grassroots advocacy campaign to enable scientists to advocate virtually.
Concept-driven teaching strategies project
The project website contains information on the society-developed foundational concepts of biochemistry and molecular biology, course materials and assessment instruments and tools. The project originally was funded by the National Science Foundation.
