SUBMISSION DEADLINE

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Project summaries can be for fully developed projects or projects in development.
  • Attendees may access the abstract submission system by logging on to the meeting registration site.  
  • Designate only ONE presenting author.  
  • Abstract title field allows a 200 character maximum.  
  • Abstract body field allows for a 350 word count maximum.
  • Plain text may be typed directly into the text field. To retain special characters and formatting, such as bold and italics, we recommend that you copy and paste text from a Word document.  

PROJECT SUMMARY TOPICS EXAMPLES
The following are examples of topics that can be presented:

  • Innovative ideas on how to teach core concepts from 1st year to 4th year Biochem/Molecular Biology students. 
  • Clear assessment methods used to identify student understanding. 
  • How to work with students in small groups.
  • How to engage students in a large classroom setting.
  • How to use technology in the classroom.
  • How to clarify particularly difficult concepts.

PROGRAMMING NOTIFICATIONS  

  • Project summaries submitted for oral presentations by the Feb. 24 deadline will be notified prior to the workshop date.   
  • All programming notifications will be sent by email and will include time and date of presentation.
