In September 2009, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology brought nine students and postdoctoral fellows to Washington, D.C. for its first-ever “Student/Postdoc Hill Day.” A year later, we contacted some past attendees to see what they are up to now and how their experience affected them.
