ASBMB addresses the issue of diversity in the biomedical research work force

The ASBMB strongly supports the efforts of the advisory committee to the NIH director and the NIH community at large as it works toward finding solutions. The ASBMB also has a long history of working for greater inclusion and success of minority scientists, specifically through its Minority Affairs Committee, about which more information can be found at http://bit.ly/Hg00FM.
The full ASBMB recommendations can be found on the ASBMB advocacy website, http://www.asbmb.org/Advocacy/advocacyhome.aspx.
