The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology's 2010 Annual Meeting will take place in Anaheim, Calif., April 24-28.
The meeting's scientific program has been organized into three thematic groups: genome dynamics, metabolism and cell systems. Each group contains several individual thematic programs developed to provide in depth coverage of specific topics within general areas, with the goal of appealing to biochemists and molecular biologists at all professional levels. Program topics include DNA transactions, hypertension, chemical biology and drug discovery, and new frontiers in genomics and quantitative proteomics.
The meeting will also feature several special events including a professional development program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, networking receptions for women and minority scientists, a fun run and a chance to have lunch with the editors of the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
