How to save the issue PDF onto your iPad eReader

The following instructions will help you save your PDF onto your iPad so that you can view it offline.


1. Visit the ASBMB Today archive and find the issue you would like to download.


2. Open the magazine issue PDF in your iPad browser.
For purposes of this demonstration, we will use the Apple Web browser Safari.


3. Touch on the upper part of the PDF on display.
You will see a menu allowing you to open the PDF in another application, such as Apple’s iBooks:

4. In iBooks, your PDF will be saved and appear as an ePub on your Newsstand.

5. Back in the Web browser, to select another eReader or application, touch on “Open in...”
on the far right side.

Here is how the PDF will appear available in your library in the iPad version of Adobe Acrobat Reader:
