Volunteer at the ASBMB Exhibit on the National Mall

July 30, 2010 -- ASBMB will host two exhibits on the National Mall in Washington D.C as part of the USA Science & Engineering Festival.  If you live in the D.C. area and would like to participate, you can work a short shift on the weekend of October 23 or 24 and receive a free ASBMB T-shirt.  Learn more and sign up here. 

NRC Releases Draft Conceptual Framework for New Science Education Standards

July 16, 2010 -- The National Research Council has released a 190-page document that lays the foundation for what core science ideas, cross-cutting concepts, and scientific practices all students need to succeed in science, and is seeking public comment from science educators and other stakeholders through August 2. Review and comment on the Draft Framework.
