2013 Germ Challenge winners

"What is a Germ?" Challenge

Working with the Cambridge Science Festival, ASBMB sponsored a contest that challenged scientists to provide an answer to the question, what is a germ? The twist was that the answer had to make sense to a 9 year old. The winning entry came from the ASBMB UAN chapter at Suffolk University. Read more about the Challenge here.

The second was an informational session on all things science cafe, with attendees learning about what it takes to start their own version.
