A new virtual series is now available. This series was developed with the help of Michael Wakelman to highlight papers on lipidomics, the subject of the 2017 Keystone Symposium that was held Feb. 26–March 2 in Tahoe City, Calif.

The Journal of Lipid Research has a video illustrating a new paper about the structure of very low-density lipoproteins. The research team used a new technique called IPET to create the visualizations. 

New urine test could diagnose eye disease

retinaOct. 16, 2013 — You might not think to look to a urine test to diagnose an eye disease. But a new Duke University study says it can link what is in a patient’s urine to gene mutations that cause retinitis pigmentosa, or RP, an inherited, degenerative disease that results in severe vision impairment and often blindness.
