March 23, 2009--The results of a new poll conducted by the Biomedical & Life Sciences Division of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) has named the the Journal of Biological Chemistry and Molecular and Cellular Proteomics two of the 100 "most influential" biology and medicine journals over the past 100 years.
The group released the names of the top journals from three fields: Clinical Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Molecular and Cellular Biology, and Natural History last week. The top ten journals will be announced at an awards dinner in Washington DC on June 16.
