Map, Driving Directions, and Parking for West Campus:

  • Follow Hwy 101 to the Storke Rd/Glen Annie exit in Goleta. (If going North on 101, bypass the exit to UCSB on Rte  217 (Ward Memorial Drive) and continue to Storke Rd.
  • Go South on Storke Rd (away from the mountains and towards the ocean)
  • At El Colegio Rd, where Storke Rd ends, bear right and follow Slough Rd while staying parallel to the lagoon.  Go slowly because herons commonly sighted on this road.
  • When the road ends at the barrier take an immediate left into the parking lot and purchase a $3 parking ticket (for all day) at the ATM-like pay station near the entrance.
  • After visibly placing your parking sticker near your windshield, walk North (back towards the mountains) between some buildings with boarded-up windows (that’s OK) until you find the Center next to the road you drove in on.
  • Note: While the Conference Center is only about 2 mi. from the heart of the UCSB campus and less than 4 mi from the Santa Barbara Airport, it is remotely situated in an unpopulated and very “California-rustic” location near the ocean.
