Travel Awards are available to assist graduate students or postdoctoral fellows presenting an abstract at the ASBMB Annual Meeting, held in conjunction with Experimental Biology 2011 in Washington, DC.

Awarded applicants will be reimbursed for qualifying meeting related travel expenses as follows:
- up to a maximum of $1,050.00 for Graduate Students
- up to a maximum of $1,250.00 for Postdoctoral Fellows
- up to a maximum of $1,250.00 for NIH Fellows

IMPORTANT:
Full participation by ALL travel award recipients is MANDATORY at the following pre-meeting events. Travel awardees should plan to arrive at the event location by 4:00 PM on Friday, April 8th. Details will be provided to all award recipients with their award notifications.
- Friday, April 8, 2011, Travel Award Plenary Lecture and Poster Presentations
- Saturday, April 9, 2011, Trainee Professional Development Program

| Poster presentation during this special travel award event is in addition to the awardee's abstract presentation at the main EB2011 meeting, April 10-13, 2011. Programming details for this second presentation will be sent in February, 2011. |
| U.S. residency is not required for this award. |
