Each year, the ASBMB hosts an Undergraduate Poster Competition as part of its annual meeting.  

Join us for a great opportunity to connect with a captive audience of undergraduate students beginning their search for a graduate program.  

Last year, 150 undergraduates, along with their faculty advisors attended this exciting and highly anticipated annual event. 

Posters are judged by a panel of Undergraduate Faculty volunteers and cash prizes for research achievement are awarded on Sunday.

EXHIBITOR BENEFITS: 

For only $250 exhibitors receive one, 6-foot skirted table in the center of the poster competition floor, plus these additional benefits: 

First person access to undergraduates who have
significant research insterests and experience
 

Post-show access to competitor mailing list 

Opportunity to develop relationships with undergraduate faculty advisors 

Institution's logo appears on the event website and in the print program 

 


 
EXHIBITOR INFORMATION:
 

The Competition wil be located in the Anaheim Convention Center, Ballroom D/E on the third floor. 

Tables are to remain set and staffed through the conclusion of the event.  The competition judging begins at 1:00 PM and concludes at 4:30 PM. 

Exhibitors are welcome to visit with students either at their table or seek out students at their posters during the competition.  

There will be a mid-point refreshment break for all participants, judges, and exhibitors. 

Meeting registration is not included in the $250 Exhibitor Sponsorship rate.  

All Graduate Program Exhibitors must be registered attendees of the Experimental Biology 2010 Meeting in order to gain access to the Convention Center.  

 


EXHIBITOR SET UP: 

Graduate Program Exhibitors will be assigned one, 6-foot skirted table with two chairs. 

Exhibitor tables will be labeled with your institution’s name. 

Graduate Program representatives may begin setting up at 12:00 PM, (Noon), one hour prior to the event start time.  

Tables can accommodate a table top display, such as a tri-fold poster board, literature or other small items. 

Exhibit booths and like displays cannot be accommodated. 

Display items must be contained within the limits of the table top surface. 

Electricity and internet access is not available for this event. 

 


SHIPPING MATERIAL TO/FROM ANAHEIM: 

Shipping to Anaheim 

Before March 15, 2010: 

Exhibitor materials received by the ASBMB Office by March 15, 2010 will be available at the exhibitor’s assigned table by 12 PM on Saturday, April 24, 2010.  

Please contact the ASBMB Office before shipping any materials for address and details: wzhao@asbmb.org. 

After March 15, 2010: 

Exhibit related material not shipped to the ASBMB Office by March 15, 2010, is the exhibitor’s responsibility.  You must ship materials to your representative's hotel to the guest's attention and/or hand carry materials to the Center.   

There is NO option to ship directly to the Center. 

Shipping from Anaheim 

Return shipments are the exhibitor’s responsibility.  

FedEx Kinko’s is conveniently located in the Marriott Hotel across the street from the Convention Center.  There is no FedEx Kinko's locations within the Anaheim Convention Center.  

All exhibitor material must be removed at the conclusion of the competition.  Material left in the poster competition area will be discarded.
