Immediate opening for position of postdoctorate associate.  Newly funded grant for three years to work on mechanism of cellulase on cellulose.  The research involves determining kinetic constants on the enzyme using steady state kinetics and on single molecule methods.  The successful candidate will have a degree in biological sciences such as biochemistry or microbiology.  Experience in cloning, molecular biology, protein purification and kinetic analysis is preferred.  Contact Ming Tien (
