Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, outlines global AIDS campaign

In a speech given Tuesday at the National Institutes of Health, Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, announced plans to invest an additional $60 million in HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment efforts with the goal of “creating an AIDS-free generation.” Clinton emphasized the role research will play in determining how combinations of prevention methods affect HIV transmission in different locations and populations.
