Registration Details

Registration and housing accommodations are made when you register for the meeting.  All housing arrangements must be made directly through ASBMB's registration site.  ASBMB will send a final confirmation email with your arrival/ departure dates and travel information at least one week before the start of the symposium.      

Conference Package Includes:
    - 4 nights accommodation (October 4, 5, 6, 7)
    - Meeting materials
    - Access to all scientific sessions
    - Opening reception
    - Meals (3 breakfast, 3 lunch, 4 dinner)
    - Coffee breaks
    - Poster sessions and refreshments
     
Accommodation Options:

Single Room:  This includes a bedroom with private bath.  Those registering for a single room may choose to bring a guest for no additional fee.  Guest are responsible for meals on their own and cannot participate in group conference meals.  A room can be upgraded from a standard room to a deluxe room for an additional $200.     


Double Room:
Double rooms include a shared bedroom and bathroom.  Those registering for a double have two options:
 
1) Choose Your Roommate- Choose your roommate and include the name of your roommate when you register.  The roommate chosen will also need to register and include your name so that ASBMB can match you together.
2) ASBMB Assigns Roommate- If you do not have a roommate you can leave the roommate name blank.  ASBMB will make every effort to match you with another meeting participant.  If a roommate cannot be matched the registrant will be required to pay the single room rate.  

Additional Hotel Nights: $129 Standard/ $159 Upgrade, plus tax
If you plan to arrive early or extend your stay after the symposium, you will have the option to select the additional nights during the registration process.  If you do not require additional nights, please click the first box "I do not require additional room nights" to continue past this option.  You will be required to pay for each additional night by credit card when you check in at Snowbird.  The rates are $129 per night for the standard room plus tax.  If you upgraded your room for the symposium, additional nights will be at the upgraded room rate of $159 per night plus tax.  To add additional nights after you have completed registration, please email meetings@asbmb.org and include your name, dates of request and the name of the symposium.        

 

Payment, Cancellation & Change policy

Payment: Participants have three payment types: Pay by Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), pay by ACH/ Wire Transfer or pay by Check.  If you select to pay be either ACH/ Wire Transfer or Check payments must be received within 10 business days.  After 10 business days your registration will be cancelled.  Payments may be processed at any time during normal business hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. by contacting the accounting office at 240.283.6604.     

Changes: Registration changes will be accepted as space allows until Tuesday, September 4, 2012 and can be made by contacting meetings@asbmb.org.  

 

Cancellations: Cancellations will be permitted until Tuesday, September 4, 2012 and are subject to a $100 fee.  After this date cancellations will not be refunded.  Cancellations may be requested by emailing the ASBMB Meetings Department at meetings@asbmb.org.  Please include a copy of your meeting registration invoice, along with your name and the name of the symposium.
